We take on a small number of engagements at a time, from scientific questions that need AI to products that need building and infrastructure that needs to be trusted. Everything we deliver is documented and handed over, so it keeps working without us.
The founder
I'm Dr. Makhan Virdi. I've spent more than fifteen years where Earth science meets data and software: building satellite data systems, applying machine learning to water, land and climate, and leading teams that turn research into tools people use every day.
My work spans hydrology and terrestrial water budgets, land-use and agricultural monitoring, satellite data systems and open-data standards, and deep learning for Earth observation. I've mentored more than fifty early-career scientists in applied AI.
I hold a Ph.D. in water resources and an M.S. in civil engineering.
